Our Story
In 1985, after an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, Paul Morrow started SDAC, a local air-conditioning company. Morrow would go on to spend his days working and his nights in technical school, becoming, in his own words " a test taker", and amassing a wealth of degrees, certifications, and specialized licenses in order to constantly expand into new areas. Now, three decades later, SDAC has a veritable host of contracts, including building remediation at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Miami-Dade, repairs and maintenance at a U.S. Army Engineer center in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and maintenance of government buildings in Washington, D.C.
In 2014, SDAC opened an office branch in Selma, Alabama, Morrow's hometown. In addition, SDAC acquired a mobile concrete plant and an asphalt plant for road construction and repair |
In 2017, Paul Morrow was named the SBA's Small Business Person of the Year for Florida and is a recipient of the Smithsonian Institution “Outstanding Contribution” Award in 2017 for SDAC’s role in supporting the grand opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
Morrow still finds time to volunteer for a host of worthy organizations, including the Naranja Princeton Community Development Corporation, and spends a great deal of mentoring and teaching returning service members, young entrepreneurs, and disadvantaged teens. Diversification is the key to growth, and SDAC is no stranger to that principle. Dynasty Medical is the most recent of her sister companies, which includes SDAC, Inc., SDAC Facility Services, SDAC Government Services, and SDAC Civil Division.
